Cracking Gin, big and powerful, just brilliant, great on the rocks or with a quality tonic.

I would have no problems recommending this for anyone who appreciates gin. The price tag makes sense when you taste how smooth yet punchy with aromatics this is. Good for a top notch Martini or G & T. I'd ease up on any garnish though as the existing flavours are prime as they are.

My favourite gin - the use of unusual botanicals is mesmerising. Turmeric and lavender are the most prominent. Drink with ice or with tonic.

Definately one of my favourite gins. This wonderfully crafted local product has a delightful nose. Drink on its own or as a mixer. Your not a gin drinker if you dont have this in your collection!

I have a gin and tonic using fresh ginger as a garnish. Works very well. For my taste it has a kind of Asian spices richness to it. Makes a phenomenal heaty Martini. Enjoy a bottle at least once but not all at once.

It's expensive, but no more so than Plymouth Gin's Navy Strength offering, which is very difficult to find here these days. The good news is that Four Pillars Gunpowder is just that tiny, tiny bit better. Do not drink this gin with anything less than Fever Tree tonic and in no more than a 2 to 1 ratio. My recommendation is that you go out and find ( wherever you can ) East Imperial Indian Tonic Water. If you want something really old school, go for East Imperial's Burma tonic which has no detectable sweetness at all. If you're stuck with good old Schweppes then, respectfully, I recommend you stick with good old Gordons - it's a good, uncomplicated gin. This, on the otherhand, is a magnificent gin which needs a worthy companion. It's also wonderful in a martini. Very pleased that this came from Australia. Definitely a world beater.
