One of the worst wines purchased from Dan's. Extremely dry and tannic. Aerating and 24 hours of breathing didn't improve this wine. Not even worth it for $10. Shocker.

The Craftsman wines made by Neil Doddridge can be beauty's (the 2013 Coonawarra Cab Sauv). This isn't made by Neil and is harsh, sour, thin and severe - the polar opposite to Rich & Smooth.

Rich, smooth, soft clean ... these words sucked me into buying and never before has a Dan Murphy recommendation been so wrong. We love meandering down the aisles and picking random bottles with the Dan Murphy tag - this is the first bottle to have been a dud. I even poured some down the sink to get rid of.

This wine was too dry not very pleasant even after allowing to breathe.

As the description says, this is a rich, smooth Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon. An ideal accompaniment to pasta or barbecued red meat. I will be buying more of this great value and excellent drinking wine.

I realise it was at the lower end of the scale but it was the worst purchase I have ever made from Dan's
