I’ve tasted better Sauvignon Blanc. I was disappointed when waiting for the aroma and taste of the citrus fruits. I felt none of the zing hoped for. I bought six, hoping to give a delightful couple of bottles to my sister for a house warming. After tasting though, I will give her one and another that I know will be enjoyed more. Glad I didn’t pay full price...

I believe the wine is past its use by date ,has not been cared for properly.or left in hot weather. I opened one bottle not impressed thought it may have been one bad one in the mix, but the second was just as bad. I still have 4 that you welcomed to have back.

This Chilean Sauvignon Blanc is a refreshing departure from the standard Malborough Sauvignon Blanc. Casillero del Diablo is invigorating with a citric fruit and gooseberry palate.

At an impromptu Dan Murphy Sauvignon Blanc Master class in Orange during the recent food week I was fortunate to learn about Sav Blanc and experienced a range of Australian and European tastings. The Castillo De Diablo (Cellar of the Devil) bordered on the less ripe range and didn't have the aromatic passion-fruit flavours but more herbaceous flavours. A dry and very pleasing taste and for me this Chilean variety was the pick of the bunch.
