Unique purple red hue. The Carmenere is a bit harsh. This wine is not for everyone but for someone who like this style of wine, it’s not bad.

After seeing the rave reviews I bought this and have to say I was very disappointed. Lacks any body and found it hard to detect any of the flavours listed on the bottle. I will stick to tried and proven Barossa reds in future.

Unique wine, with deep purple color. Smoky aromas and flavors of flame-grilled bell peppers, blistered blackberries, olive focaccia, hints of sesame, and soy with a satiny, vibrant, dry-yet-fruity medium body and a sleek, notes of moderate oak flavor. A smoky, spicy, fruity Carmenere for grilling and chilling. My all time favourite. Thanks Danmurphys for bring this wonderful wine...

Bought it after reading the reviews. Unfortunately I found this wine to be very bitter, acidic and unable to taste any of the fab notes others were able to taste. It was definitely medium bodied but not easy to drink at all. Didn't find it to be smooth. Would not buy again.
