Unfortunately the producer (Concha y Toro) keeps the best wines for their home market (Chile). Same with Argentinian wine growers, especially Malbec. But this simple wine is very good to just have a glass from or serve at dinner. The same applies to the CabSavs. Great value for money.

A soft, medium bodied Shiraz combining great varietal flavours and soft tannins. A very drinkable wine with red meats such as lamb and cheeses. For the price it’s a bargain; presumably because it’s from Chile!

A pleasant wine but a tad dry for my liking and about $3 more for what it is worth compared to other wines. Like Cat amongst the Pigeons and Butchers Block both have a little more texture and fruitiness.
