As a person who has tasted many whiskeys & have around a dozen different brands sitting at home in my bar, I know what I like, but I still like to explore with untried brands just to keep my palate constantly being challenged. Not my first Japanese whisky, but quite reasonable value. Drinking this neat after those late work nights. Find it quite palatable compared to some of the negative reviews here. Would buy this again as it is something I would share with friends, both seasoned & unseasoned whiskey drinkers.

I'm normally a single malt drinker, but this blended whiskey in a bourbon barrel is ssooooo nice, the Japanese are great at making things!

Not great just clean Japanese whisk(e)y, not much unique character or flavour or anything. Not terrible tasting just meh.

Japanese whiskey is generally good quality, but that often comes at a severe price. Whilst this is no Hibiki, it is less than a third of the price of Hibiki's cheapest offering ("Harmony"). Verdict: good whiskey, great price.
