Wanted to try something completely new. Googled this product and I dunno how but it showed 4.8/5 star rating at Dan Murphys. Yet after checking on here it is 3 stars. To be succinct drinking this makes me feel like I am eating dirt and grass. Don’t buy it. I should have gotten another bottle of Starward. Was going to give it 1 star but it does get you drunk so 2 stars it is.

Was really looking forward to this but it was awful. Generally a big Japanese whisky fan, but this was definitely a never again.

Felt like trying something different and this one was discounted and I like the look of the bottle so took a chance. Pretty disappointing over all when you compare to other offerings at the price point. Still had no trouble finishing the bottle off. But I wouldn't get it again nor recommend.

This is not a good drinking whisky. Use it as a mixer and it'll be fine, but for the price there are much cheaper alternatives.

Having read a few reviews I went in with some trepidation. I have enjoyed Toki and The Shin, so I figured it was worth a try. Maybe I love the bitter sweet Caramel flavours I seem to find in Japanese Whisky, or maybe the fact that it tends to be stronger than your average scotch, Irish etc. Whatever it is, I love it. Give it a crack!
