Super unpleasant taste. Probably the worst tasting beer I have ever had. A bitter, spirit-like, weak tasting beer. Personally, I get a strange scratchy feeling in the back of my throat after finishing a can. The only upside is that its quite strong for the price.

Full flavored Aussie beer that beer drinkers can enjoy sick of all these weak craft beers that are priced to kill the pocket with the effect of lemonade this beer tastes like a good beer should . keep it available CUB it will definetly find its own market may James Boag drinkers that have left because they have reduced its alcohol back to 4.6%

As a malt liquor/high gravity beer lover this one strikes a good balance between being dry and crisp and having a kick without being overly sweet as many higher abv lagers are. At 6.5% its not overdone and I can knock back a six pack comfortably without feeling full. The price is a joke but all aussie beer is a ripoff, thankfully I got 9 dollars off a six pack on a members special.
