Argentinian bang for your buck, smooth, balanced, different from your usual cheaper options

Tasted like someone tried to flavour dishwater with grapes but the grapes had gone off. Foul.

Wine is a curious thing. You can do a tasting of wines, maybe $20-$50, carefully sequenced to go from basic to the best, and conclude, oh yes, that $47 single site low volume hand made Pinot is just superb. But then, open a $6 on special wine, after not drinking for a couple of days, just the one wine on its own, with some interesting food, and it can taste wonderful. This is such a wine - young, fruity, light to middle weight in body, a degree of complexity(ie, range of flavours including a bit of savoury), I’ve just bought 6 and am tasting it with lunch, and am really enjoying it. I’d say it would stand up well to many of the cheaper Pinots, at 3 times the price. Maybe it’s better. Not a 5 star wine purely on quality alone, but definitely worth 5 stars for value and enjoyment.

A nice balanced red wine which does not effect the gastro system with sufferers!.

Really enjoyed this with my meals. Enhanced the food making it more enjoyable.

I tried this Malbec a few months ago and have enjoyed drinking it ever since. Very easy to drink and good value compared with some other more expensive Malbecs
