This lovely Gamay is bursting with flavour! Light on the tannins with a smooth finish, it’s softer in texture than a shiraz or Cab Sauv, but bolder than a Pinot Noir. Definitely a favourite.

A lovely light red. We went out with friends for dinner and they'd brought a reasonably good pinot. After dinner my friend was off to see if he could get a couple of dozen to have as his house red.

This was a nice surprise for a chilled wine! It is very well balanced, crisp and tastes delicious. Not too sweet and not too dry :) Its currently on member offer, so it's a great price.

BWS_AJ 32, BWS Teneriffe

This is my first intro to Gamay and I am a big fan. Hailing from France this vibrant, fruit forward wine has a pleasant and unexpected spice on the palate, which is apparently typical for this varietal and totally made this wine for me. It's a winner.

Maison de la Villette Gamay comes partly from Beaujolais and partly from the Comte Tolesan region - and you'll be pleased as punch when it shows up at your door! Vibrant, fruit-forward and aromatic it's got just a touch of gamey spice on the palate. Serve cool and enjoy.
