This is a fine place to start making cocktails but everything in this kit (apart from the barspoon) is not the best design. You can't dry shake with this tin due to the glass and not being able to form a proper seal that a set of metal tins would let you do. My glass hasn't broken like other people's but I still recommend getting a set of metal tins. Also this set doesn't come with a fine mesh strainer which you definitely need to strain out shard ice

I’ve managed to chip the top part of the strengthen glasses for yourself a favour abd invest in a tin on tin Boston shakers. I managed to make 5 cocktails before the top chipped…. Wasn’t dropped or anything their just as poor as the Kmart kits

Purchased a gift for a family member and arranged pick up. Went to wrap it and there is this big pick up sticker on the side of the box that could not be removed completely leaving a lovely gift looking rather shabby. Not happy and will NOT purchase a gift through Dan Murphy’s again. Would not recommend purchasing anything you might want to gift to someone especially after arranging pick up when the item is in limited stock and you have to travel past other stores to get the said item

This set is amazing when it’s not broken!! I’ve made some excellent cocktails with this but unfortunately I’ve had the glass break twice. Already replaced once and now I’ll have to return the second set for a refund.

This is a great kit to enable you to prepare great cocktails. Have had it for around a year and can't fault it. Highly recommend it!
