Clear medium purple with long legs surrounding the glass. Clean, medium to pronounced plum, chocolate, vanilla and green peppercorn on the nose. Dry with a pleasant medium acidity. Medium tannin, medium to full body. Plum, mild blackberry , blueberry, smooth leather where raisin kicks in on a long finish.

for someone who is not a real wine drinker like myself, I found this red to be smooth and very easy to drink. I believe it is very well priced also.

An excellent full flavoured Shiraz consistent from year to year .

I felt that Jester Shiraz whilst a reasonable wine, it lacked body and not to be compared with Mitolo's other wines.

This is a smooth very slightly sweet easy drinking wine. Great to relax at the end of a hard day with such a pleasant inoffensive wine or it is just as enjoyable at a dinner party where it can compliment the food. This a fantastic value entry level Mitolo shiraz.
