This is a fantastic whisky. Great value for money with a lovely sherry touch to it. If you have the extra pennies try the Bun 12 cask strength. It's next level goodness.

This scotch has a superb nose, a multifaceted, harmonised flavour profile and a medium finish. In this 46% abv form, it's as great an example of how well a 12yo can mature as you will find. Best appreciated without dilution.

An adventurous whisky drinker would enjoy this because it’s very tasty. Just a bit of smoke even though it’s at 46.3%. Will definitely recommend to others as it is worth the try. You’ll enjoy every single sip especially in this kind of weather. Go for it !

I first tried this in a 50ml sample a while ago, BRILLIANT; (so I purchased a 700ml bottle). On the nose I can smell sherry cask influence, berry fruits, dried fruits, and sultana. On the palate I can taste sherry cask influence with berry fruits, dried fruits, and sultana. Very pleasant aftertaste. While maybe a touch pricy, it is after all, a 12 year old age statement, plus it's UN CHILL FILTERED and NATURAL COLOUR (so the essential oils, and proteins are not lost = heaps of flavour and body = not watered down). This is a whisky in it's true natural state. If you're looking for a gift for a loved one or friend, look no further, they will be pleased. I'm looking forward to purchasing the Bunnahabhain 12 year old Cask Strength, when Dan's finally gets them in? I highly recommend this 12 year old whisky if you're after a well made whisky that's full of flavour with great depth. Bunnahabhain definitely got this one right. Overall a well made Scotch whisky. Picked up a bottle today, been wanting to try a Bunna for some time. I am VERY impressed by this! It's a fascinating juxtaposition of malt-driven coastal dram, and heavy sherry influence. Much more sherry influence than the other Islays dare. But this really works well since it's barely peated at all, a refreshing example for an Islay, and I have nothing against peaty drams either. Really, really impressed and can't wait to share this with some malt mates.
