I am always on the look out for fine Chardonnay at around $20, or hopefully a little less if on special. In summer i buy several bottles of Chardonnay every week, so always looking for something new. This wine is very refined and enjoyable at $17. It is in the modern style and is very drinkable. I do prefer old style oaky Chardonnays, but in this price range they are as rare as hen's teeth. This is probably as good as any other Chardonnay i have had recently for this price. The other one that is very similar is Punt Road.

YV chardy is a favourite of mine. Yering Station has had a great reputation for its wines and also a reputation for quite expensive wine as well. This offering at a more accessible price point is a welcome intro to this label. At its current price on extra discount it is pleasant enough, nothing to really criticise except to say it is in competition with a lot of other chardys that just might be better value quality wise.

A bit bland but still palatable and not adverse to buying again at reasonable price.

A quality wine. Nothing outstanding but nothing bad either. Enjoyable with a nice roast chook!!

The offer of six quality wines plus the add on of a superior wine for free was a winner for me.
