Reading the reviews and the high rating given by Dans', I was expecting something rather special after along line of poor Chardonnays. But, this rating (95), would surely not refer to this washed out, thin, dull example. The wine shows little fruit and no complexity, and belongs in a cask. My reluctance to believe ratings is confirmed by this, and I may consign this wine to the sink.

Was offered 2 for 22, found it great value. Well balanced easy drinking Margs Chard, wouldn’t have an issue pouring it for a good friend. Don’t hesitate to grab a crate or two when on offer, you’d hardly find better elsewhere.

At least as good as Leeuwin prelude (which is double the price), and in a different league to anything at this price point from Margaret River… Deep Woods in a similar vein but not with the same complexity as this…

I really enjoyed this one! Favourite amongst friends!
