very enjoyable drink and happy to recommend it to any one

This 12 year old whiskey is very smooth and is a great example of well aged blended whisky. It's very easy to drink and has a subtle smokey flavour which adds another dimension to the experience. I enjoy it with Soda water, but it's also great over ice or served neat.

This drink is an absolute pleasure to the senses. the smokey flavor from the maturing in oak casks gives the feeling of a relax in front of a nice warm fireplace. drink this straight over an ice sphere in a nice scotch glass, it looks great and tastes even better.

I had high hopes for this one as it looked a good fit to my tastes, but I was disappointed overall. It has a strong if somewhat after-taste and is a strange blend of some good base scotches with what tastes like some rougher grain whiskies thrown in. If you like American grain whiskey with a strong kick then you will likely find this blend appealing. If you prefer a smooth neat true scotch then best to look elsewhere in the price range. Too expensive as a mixer and not really good enough for sipping.

The most amazing thing is the bottle, heavy with a screw top and a plastic dispenser in the throat. I enjoyed this flavorsome scotch with a drop of water, nice balance of flavor. I am not much at saying it tastes like prunes or pine needles or apricots as my palate does not work that way , like some. I found it smooth, enjoyable and satisfying and would happily but it again.

I bought this for the first time, when it was on special offer, from the MDM Club. Extremely good value 12YO, smooth finish, and very enjoyable. It would give a lot of other 12YO's a run for their money, loved it.
