This is a great rum that's well priced. It's very smooth and has pleasant flavours but it may be a bit lacking for those drinking their spirits neat who prefer more complex spirits. Definitely worth the try even still and the smoothness with hints of vanilla make it ideal for people who aren't big drinkers. It's a very versatile rum and is enjoyable mixed or neat.

To start with I'll just mention I'm a massive spiced rum drinker.... I drink 2 litres a week minimum. Now I mostly drink captain Morgans buy occasionally I'll try one of these fancy unknown brands but unfortunately everytime I do I'm disappointed.... This bottle gave me the impression it was imported from some small village in Trinidad from some secret recipe. But its another Aussie spiced rum that has the strong homemade metho taste and has prob been aged for months not years. Its harsh everyway you drink it even mixed with coke it tastes more like homemade moonshine whiskey... YOU WANT GOOD SPICED RUM? Captain Morgan the original and the best.
