Following my disappointment with an earlier bottle of this wine, I was contacted by Brown Brothers and offered the chance to taste this wine again. After this second tasting it became obvious that the 1st bottle had suffered a malfunction, be it at production (bad seal), transport or storage at the bottle shop. That was why the wine was off. This second tasting showed a wine that I would call a "Table Wine" that is for every day drinking. There was nothing wrong with it and the taste was ok. I rated it as average and fair value for money. I have had better tasting Cabernet Sauvignon for a lesser cost. There are other Brown Brothers wines that I enjoy and I applause the winery for their customer service.
