The winemaker says it has a creamy mouthfeel. To me its sharp and steely. Tastes more like sav blanc that's been playing with apricots.

I find a lot of Chardonnay sharp and stainless steel tasting This one has a flavour like a nice wooded Chardonnay not like a cheap afternoon BBQ keep the girls happy Chardonnay, some nice cheese and semi dried tomatoes, friends and some good jazz enjoy

Grape Balls of Fire ,

...it's a well balanced, mid-weight chardonnay. I enjoy all styles, but on merit, it punches way above it's weight. Some costing twice as much have been far less enjoyable.

This wine has some bad reviews. I can only think that these reviewers are inexperienced. I can assure you that you won't get a better Chardonnay at this price.

From the Franklin Tate Estate, this classic Chardonnay showcases some of the best wine-making traditions of Western Australia. This dry white has been partly fermented in French Oak barrels for a softer body and creamy texture, with a fine acidic edge for brilliant balance.
