Goes with any red meat or to keep warm around a camp fire

I did expect more. This is from a pretty famous place in italy where I think Amorone is made. Unfortunately however it is just an OK wine. Certainly for this price you can get much better Australian wines... at least for my taste.

I found this to be a grossly over rated and over priced wine simply because I was expecting so much more depth of flavour from it based upon the glowing Dan Murphy’s description of it and the general viticulture information pertaining to Italian Ripasso style wines. This wine was a severe disappointment when compared to the massive body and depth of flavour available from less expensive bottles of Sicilian Nero D’Avola that I have sampled recently.

Very smooth easy to drink. Can drink with rich good food or just on its own. Been one of my favourite red wines and only ever see it at Dan Murphy’s

I've been buying this wine for some time now and have shared it with many if not all of my friends, and to date, never had a complaint. It is the wine that we have always on hand no matter what. A great medium bodied wine that will please all red wine drinkers. I said 2011 as the vintage however all vintages have proven to be as good as each other.
