Well presented, big name blend. There's a Sherry Edition & a Sherry Finish. Mine here, is the 12yr old sherry "FINISH" assuming they're different ??? Pleasant smoke hit with an underlying, rich sherry tickle. For some, the harshness of the peat removed in the original Black will be welcome: Ignore stupid negative reviews; it is exactly whats it's meant to be - a nice easy sipper; This on ice or as a mixer will be superb - wait for the price to drop. Nose: Gentle peat with sherry & fruit - exactly what's expected & inviting. Palate: Tasting is whats promised in the nose, with some spice, quite light, sweet vanilla & some dried fruit. Finish: Soft, short, sweetish finish, no big kick, hint of ash.

Not really a big fan of the Johnnie Walker Blacks but this one.. I Looove the notes and finish of this Sherry finish. Honestly would recommend to people that do not usually drink Johnnie Walker blacks. Definitely can be my daily whisky to go to now..and the price is very good for the flavours and notes it gives.

White pepper and asparagus on the nose. A long finish but mostly of burn and smoke. Slight sweetness. Not too much going on. I do enjoy this more than the non-sherry edition though. Interesting and enjoyable but just an everyday drink.

I purchased this mainly for the misses as I'm a black label drinker as green is a bit much to buy as an everyday drink, Something strange happened the first drink I wasn't too sure and decided I'd buy a bottle of black tomorrow and Leave this for the misses as she likes it, 3 drinks in and I changed my mind the taste has grown on me, After the bottle was finished I bought another Now this will probably be put in my cabinet next to black label as my go-to drink The only advice I give is if your new to this bottle less is better especially if your mixing As it has a strong distinct flavour I found if I mixed it strong or took a big mouth full straight the flavour was over powering and recommend it for a slow night around the fire with mates enjoying a drink with each other

i am not sure if the people reviewing this have no taste buds because this is a beautiful aroma and is as smooth as hot butter. lovely fruit taste and super smooth with the sherry sweetness which is unmistakable. a great 12 year old whiskey which goes down lovely with coke zero.

Compared to other 12 year old whiskys I've enjoyed this would be the worst. Lacks any enjoyable aroma and doesn't go down smoothly.
