Though usually it’s nice to have the chance to buy slightly aged wine, this purchase was initially made due to the bottle neck card advertising a chance to win a trip to the Edinburgh comedy festival After purchase and scanning to QR code you discover it was a completion held exactly 12 months previously. Bait, and switch.

I've spent a lot of money trying to find a wine that suits me. I won't go into brand names, but they are well known. The Elephant in the room merlot was recommended to me by you and it's very good. Very close to what I'm looking for. A wine without the acidic aftertaste.
