I was blown away by the Pacific Pale Ale. It’s a very flavoursome drop, excellent hops, it will give some Independent brewers a run for their money. Possibly a little expensive as a major brewer should be able to get economies of scale.

A winner from Coopers! Excellent pale ale with good complexity and an excellent crisp finish!

Extremely underwhelming beer at best, missing the essence of a Pacific Pale Ale by a country mile. First and last carton purchased so might move the remainder of this carton to VB status.......Visitors Beer. If you buy this beer and expect a burst of flavor like say from Fat Yak, Stone Wood or Lorry Boys Pacific Ale you will understand after the first drop.

The Cooper family have come up trumps again. This fruity, mid-strength beer is a delight to drink at any time. I would highly recommend this delightful South Australian beer to any serious beer drinker. Try it. You will not be disappointed.

I first tasted this on a holiday to Norfolk Island. On a warm afternoon, on a balcony overlooking the lush island valley, it really hit the spot. Has a citrusy finish (to me anyway), and is made by that great Coopers Brewery and still in a 375ml can, which is important to me. It's become one of my new favourites if you can find it on special get some, otherwise, it's a bit pricey for mine.

I think Coopers Pacific Pale Ale is one of those hidden gems - not really well known outside of South Australia. It is definitely the star product of the Coopers range, outstanding against craft beers and definitely heads and shoulders better than the regular Coopers Pale Ale we find in many of the NSW pubs. I think it's time Coopers upped their game to market this top product. Its got body, aroma, and taste and the haziness of the pour looks great in a cold glass. Tip: roll your can to distribute the 'sediment' to get that great hazy look when you pour.
