For those unaware of the origin of the name of this beer, it takes its name from the finger-shaped signposts which pointed pilgrims on their way to the tomb of Thomas a Becket in Canterbury! Away from the above, it's a very flavorsome ale, nutty and malty and not too fizzy, which is a classic English beer. Very nice with quality fish and chips.

This is a tasty English ale, with a good balance of sweetness and bitterness. I find it much more interesting than a larger or a pale ale that is overhopped

I have had different beers while travelling all over the world and in Australia, but Bishops Finger is the best of the best. Only problem is getting it as there is usually only 8 bottles in the Tamworth Store when it is available. I would buy two cases at a time if it was available. Uncle Dan get it in store ASAP and toss out some of the cheaper beers. Have a good day.

This is a fine ale. Big upfront taste and obvious high quality. One of my favourite British beers

As an Aussie on holidays in the UK, I tried a lot of local beers. This Ale I bought on tap at a Witherspoons pub and absolutely loved it. Great full flavour brown ale. Highly recommend to drinkers that like a full flavoured beer

A very refreshing full bodied Ale, a really nice drop, will regularly have a few of these in the fridge.
