Like a heavier Pinor, is dark balanced fruity, for the price is very good value, soft smooth finish can be a regular table wine on a weeknight.

This is a delightful drop. Smooth, medium bodied and delicious. Highly recommended.

Burgundy has become confusing: Lighter Pinots from the southern end of "true" Burgundy, and heavier Gamays from the Beaujolais. This one is a lovely compromise. If you find a Beaujolais Villages too light, and the lighter Pinots too expensive, this is a lovely soft, but fuller wine. It has all the fruit of a Gamay, and then some (!) but also the round mouthfeel and clean finish that help distinguish a French Pinot from the possibly over-extracted wines we see closer to home. I love it, and after leaving enough in the bottle to check the next morning, I want to get a few in cellar to try over the next 2-3 years. They might go very well - at an excellent price :)
