Philter make really good beers with consistent quality throughout the range. Their red is no exception. Hard to fault apart from perhaps some slight over carbonation but that's clutching at straws trying to find a flaw. Well balanced with a forward malt flavour and a nice floral finish. Very tasty and sessionable.

Philter beers continue to win me over. This is no exception. Pours a light red/maroon colour with a beige head that lingers nicely. I love the moderate carbonation that sits well in the mouth. Lots of upfront hop presence but nicely balanced with stone fruit notes as well. A really good all weather beer as well. Nice in the colder months and thirst quenching during summer. I could easily see how you could knock a back a few of these with mates. Very drinkable.
