Not what I expected from Macallan

Harsh taste and if I could take it back for credit and get Macallan 12 in the blue box I would, shame really I was going to get Macallan 18 next but now am a bit worried I may not like the taste of that as well and that is even more expensive.

Was hyped by so many people regarding Macallan 12 .
Was let down
Reason profit for the sake of higher ABV
Take note Macallan their are many Scot distilleries that will make a mockery over this.
For what I paid I can purchase 1 and 1/2 bottles of better 46% ABV 13 year old or 14 .
