This can be a great beer, but if it gets treated poorly in transit or is too old it is just thin and bitter. The 4pack I bought at Dan’s in Wagga Wagga was only a month in the can, but it wasn’t worth drinking.

Drank lagers, mainly Melbourne Bitter all my life. Started trying XPA’s at pubs and eventually IPA’s. Tried many, over 15 different brands, but this one is the only one that I can drink in a session and tastes balanced. Still a regular MB drinker but every now and then i’ll grab a 4 pack of Balter IPA. Would purchase more often but I find the price ridiculous, around $25 for 4 and $80 for 16?! I wouldn’t pay $80 for 16 cans of beer even if Chanel made them. Sticking to my usual $50 for 24.

Brilliant IPA. Great taste, aroma, aftertaste, and nice to drink at home when chilling out. Awesome! All hail Balter!!!!

Unbelievable quality. The hop level is delicious with your taste buds working overtime to process all the incredible flavours. Unpasteurized with 6.8% abv, 375ml cans and (use by date) of only 6 months that delivers your keg to drink in the freshest condition. There is a presence of lip smacking to this beer that leaves no option but to plan your next tipple. We need the new CEO of Asahi Melbourne to sometimes offer cartons on special.

I really rate this savoury IPA. It doesn't try to do too much but Balter have backed up their Hazy IPA with this solid brew. Buy this... and please BWS stock more - I can never find it.

Nice easy drink with a fresh fruity smell & the taste is second to none.
