Reintroduced dry gins away from the array of
Botanical gins out there, this takes me back to the purest days before gin took off and became arty. Like most things either straight or with dirty water. Good stuff good price.
This has a more citrus boldness and delicate flavour that i am enjoying and preferring. It still comes through with the gin juniper under tones yet there is a lemon peel oiliness. A very smooth gin without that extra dry flat palate.
This is an enjoyable gin. However, I struggled to find the flavours and "boldness" advertised on the label. It was fine but really nothing amazing. At a cheaper price point Bombay, Beefeater and Tanqueray offer more defined flavour profiles and more enjoyment in my G & T to my taste. Perhaps if I regularly made martinis I may think differently
