Unless you’re from overseas, this drop needs no introduction. It’s been the pre game warm up for the square bear or cane cutters juice ever since my grandfathers where collecting scalps for KBears. It’s not for everyone. Best you get something else because people who drink or try this don’t usually read reviews. If you’ve read this far it’s probably not the drink for you.. I like it but I don’t think we would be friends.

You have the best price for my best XXXX BITTER stubs. Old fashion drinker that thinks fruit belongs in wine not beer. My problem years ago got done with BWS 6 YEARS ago at $62.00 a carton at Bellbowrie & was turned buying anything from AHL/ WOOLIES. But Dan Murphy's changed everything & want buy from anywhere else.

for years I love it and it is bitter and the only close one is Melbourne bitter; I like others too but at home it is xxxx bitter.

Not in the same class as Castlemaine Perkins XXX sparkling ale but a very good drop all the same

Not bad for a Traditional Aussie Larger, similar in taste I reckon to Toohyes New. Good Malt/Bitterness ratio and very nice on a humid summers day. Prefer this over Gold. I'm a IPA drinker so Not my go to beer but have no problem drinking it if it's available
