Sampled this at a recent family tasting day and was caught off guard by the smooth rich upfront dark berry profile and lack of pepperyness and tannins on the finish for a Shiraz. I argued it was a very good Cabernet Sauvignon from Margaret Rivers older small lot vines. I was delighted and would recommend to anyone looking for a very tidy red to sip on with or without a meal. It stands on its own and can do without typical medium rare meat support.

A very smooth and well balanced wine if allowed to breath for an hour or so before drinking. If you’re eating some premium red meat then this is the wine.
