Have had the privilege to try this twice in the last week. First tasting had been open and decanted for a few hours, second tasting not so much luxury. Caution - its a different wine with even 15 minutes in an open glass. Spectacular, the nose is like something we have not often experienced in a grange. I have never said it before, but this IS WORTH every cent even at $770 odd hard earned. The only other to come close this year is the RWT 798, which bang for buck is probably a better proposition. Regardless, this is the 2105 Grange review, and it doesn’t let us down. It is STUNNING.

Bought a bottle to have at dinner with some friends, who bought a 2004 bottle, was amazing to see the difference between the two wines, the new release was much tighter but still very tasty. Definitely needs some cellaring

on my visit too Dan Murphy's to-day in Coff's Harbour , i was appalled to see this great wine with such poor labeling. no description of the wine on the label , no vintage year on the label and more appalling the label was stuck on with sticky tape. the most unattractive labeling i have ever seen on a Penfolds wine . with a asking price of $755 per bottle or did i misread the label $7.55. Penfolds you need to lift your game. i notice the label on the advertising is that of the old style. very disappointed.. this great wine deserves better.. my review is about the presentation not the wine. this is one of the best wines in Australia
