I'm the first to tell you that I can't pick all these subtle flavours wine writers go on about, however I do know you can tell just by the sound of the wine poured into a glass, that it's going to be a nice drop. I go more on texture of a wine rather than all out taste and I do like a savoury wine rather than young and fruity and this BIN 407 from Penfolds is a very nice drop, one of the nicest I've ever tried. This is a wine to just sip and enjoy the full mouth dry feel, take your time and and swirl it around a little.....try and pick out the flavours if you wish, I prefer just to savour the moment.
