I'm a big fan of primativo and this one is great value for money. My suspicion is that the quality has improved over the vintages, hence the difference in ratings for this wine over time.

An amazing taste and colour, good balance with a meal, good price and good quality

I have $200 unspoiled wines not as drinkable ... although highly drinkable without a meal, as with any wine, pairing with the right meal is everything.

Unlike some other people, we find some fruit without sweetness on the palate, low tannins and a great wine, at the price, to accompany pizza delivered - what do others want at this price?

As another customer notes so accurately, Dan Murphy's should not be selling this wine. It is substandard. I had to spill almost all of it.

I have to disagree with some of the other reviews. I have recently buying lots of this wine because it’s so easy drinking, goes well with light healthy meals but is also well enjoyed on its own. Minimal tannins, medium to light in colour and just tasty. My friends and I have all been drinking and thoroughly enjoying this well priced wine. It has actually introduced me more so to Primitivos. For the price it has been listed at, especially on sale.. you can’t go wrong.
