I love a Pale Ale but this one does not do it for me. The strong bitter after taste and the lack of fruit aroma and flavors means its a no from me.

Tastes like a can of rusty nails! So offensive, worst beer I've ever had..

Horrible bitter taste, and it doesn't even look like a pale ale. Sorry, but I would rather drink camels urine than this awful product!

So many pale ales on the market, the pirate life PA has a fuller bodied flavour, great lasting hoppiness, nice bitter finish.

This is a great solid beer, when it is 40% off, not when full price. It was always a great beer but has gone downhill since PL were purchased, can only buy 4 packs (who wants 4 beers, it was a 6 pack for a reason). Cartoons used to feel premium (and were certainly priced that way) with great quality cardboard and a carry handle, since the purchase the cardboard has been swapped to normal and the handle removed but yet the price remained the same (typical!), and case size reduced to 16 beers with a 'reduced price', meaning the price per beer remained the same or went up slightly but the overall price went down as only buying 16. Such a shame, could have been an exceptional product in the right hands...

This is a nice dependable go to... and with the members special unbeatable value for money!
