The spice level isn't enough to bother anyone except maybe a child or a complete newbie to spices. I personally prefer moist jerky and this isn't it, but it's not the shards of concrete you get with some of the brands. I am missing some teeth so I'm not a fan of hard or especially crunchy stuff in my mouth. This jerky didn't bother me at all though, so I rate it well on that score. The taste is very nice indeed. The only reason I'm not giving it 5/5 is because I have tasted better, so 4/5 it is.

Taste great just bit to expensive to purchase on its own. I only bought it when free with six pack of hawthorn golden ale
