I chose to rate it as a 4 because of its price range. It has some lovely caramel/burnt sugar tastes to it, and as the name suggests, it have a little bit of a bite to the finish. And I have to be honest, depending on the mood, I sometimes miss that bite if it is not there. I would not rate this against the very top shelf scotch/whiskeys, but I enjoyed this, so I could not in good conscience give this a 3 out of 5. If you are looking to try Australian Whiskey, I would definitely start with this or Lark.

Usually stick to american whisky, but my wife bought this for me as it was recommended to her. Not disappointed, complex but very tasty. This has become my favorite whisky on my shelf. I will be trying more Aussie whiskies in the future. Give it a chance.

Only drank it on the rocks as didn’t want to ruin it with mixers. Thoroughly enjoyed it... Now for another bottle of a different Aussie whisky...
