This blend of Australian tawny with whiskey is reasonably simple, is a great talking point (I'd be surprised if anyone at the table has tried it before), and goes down well with red wine drinkers. It's pretty sweet, while still having just a hint of the bite that you would expect of a spirit.
Would I buy it again? Probably, yes. Will I be sad if it's not in my cupboard? Not really. Still, worth a try even if just for the conversation point.
