Worth having with spicy and herded food. Cuts thru for clean palate.

Exhibited horrendous carbonated qualities. Fizzy. Tipped it out after 2 sips - only had the second just to make sure I wasn't having a medical emergency & had unfairly judged the first sip in haste. I saw no bright light nor smelt burnt toast so the decision to tip was justified. Called an exterminator.

Tempranillo is, like any varietal, done in ways from the ultra-base levels to the spectacular refined bottles that easily command many hundreds of dollars. This is truly a base level variation of rioja... I was hesitant to buy this due to the focus on being an "organic" wine. IMHO this is often used as a gimmick or excuse for poor quality. At the end of the day, the Valiente (spanish for the "Brave")) lives up to its name. You would have to be a die hard environmentalist to choose this product. Nothing really/truly wrong with it, but it is simply limp. Watery. Drinkable at the price, but in my opinion you have just wasted an opportunity for better enjoyment. If you are looking for a great value solid base level Spanish tipple go the Borsao seleccion garnacha - a perfectly immaculate smooth spanish style grenache. With many more layers of complexity...

I really enjoyed this wine,, very easy on the palette.

A Spanish Tempranillo. Drinkable, not ghastly as some have mentioned. Let it breathe a moment prior to drinking. Expected taste for the price. I’d recommend it.
