All the joys of a luscious Rutherglen Muscat of honey, raisin, cinnamon and vanilla but with a fresh contemporary edge. Awesome on its own or as a mix. Incredible value!

Gift box iso treat featured this surprise offering that's not your typical fortified. Love it neat as a shot, but keen to mix it up as a muddled cocktail with our fave spirit, gin.

  • Tasting Notes The wine has a rich amber colour. With aromas of raisins, candied peel and spice with notes of sweet butterscotch. The palate is intense showing the benefit of time in barrel with concentrated fruit and lovely balanced sweetness. The fruit is allowed to become very ripe on the vine before being picked. It is the crushed and macerated for up to 3 days, to allow all the sugars to soak out of the skins. The must is pressed off at the required point in fermentation before being fortified with grape spirit. The resulting wine is then aged in large barrels for between 5-80 years, depending on the product classification. Nip, swig or slurp with chocolate desserts, mix into your favourite cocktail or savour on its own.
