Overall it’s not terrible, it’s just not worth the asking price. Ginger notes hit hard and come across too strong. Wouldn’t buy again. Adding a fair bit of water helps but for the coin I’d buy something else.

This is now one of my go to scotch whisky’s . Excellent to have neat smooth with nice flavours recommended to try if you like scotch.

I first tried the Glendronach 12 Year Old almost 3 years ago, and it has been my go-to single malt ever since. The Glendronach 18 Year Old is even more exceptional, offering a richer and more complex profile. However, its price point makes it a bit too indulgent for everyday enjoyment.

Best scotch around $100. If it’s on sale get 2. Won’t regret it

By the looks of it, it is a quality whisky with great texture. Oily, sticks to the walls of the glass. Nice nose with fortified wine, apple pie, raisins and caramel. Not overly sweet on the palate, but the flavours are well put together. Spicy finish, raisin aftertaste (as expected from sherry casks). Overall, a solid, drinkable scotch, however, my personal choice would be Bunnahabhain Stiùireadair (despite being non NAS) due to higher ABV and overal sweetness.
