The best full bodied Chardonnay around under $25! Shhhhh or it will all be gone!

This 2013 was thin to the nose and lacking in fruit character and balance to wood. It was not very pleasant so we didn't finnish the bottle.

Good value chardy. Very classy drop. Would recommend to anyone liking a chardy with elegance. Best Tumbarumba I've had so far.

This wine has won medals and garnered rave reviews, and I’ve no idea why. Must be something to do with Tumbarumba and the notion of a cool climate. It doesn’t smell or taste like a Chardonnay should. Instead there’s non-descript ripe fruit (Viognier comes to mind) that seems at odds with the high level of acid here. It’s an awkward combination. This is the second bottle I’ve tasted, 6 months apart. 12.5%. $15.

It has a colour of light straw with a green hue around the edge. On the nose a little damp cut grass and caramelized white meringues, there is also some oak lurking in the back ground. Nice pungent cantaloupe melon up front, then some Tahitian lime zest, the feel is broad and lasts quite long. It’s a nice enjoyable wine well match to a confit of Atlantic salmon, great value for money. Cheers Gaz
