[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Jonnie walker is balanced by fresh fruit notes. It's light to medium body offer a warming, slightly oil texture that carries the flavours well. The finish is clean and medium to length, leaving lingering pepper, oakness and gently smokey aroma. It excels in value, character and versatility making it equally enjoyable neat, over ice and mixed. A flavourful everyday dram.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tried most of the Johnnie Walker range of scotch this is definitely at the lower end of the scale. Still a good tipple. Smooth tasting, great looking bottle but can definitely get better for the price.

It's flavour is really strong with a smokiness to it which is good if you like that sort of thing but was personally a bit strong for me, I could manage a little bit with some pepsi max and ice but it won't be my go to drink of choice. It's in a lovely looking bottle which I think would be good as a gift to someone who likes to drink or collect whisky as it is by a well known brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed this whiskey, it’s quite smooth with a bit of a fiery kick. When you smell it you get hints of honey, apple/pear and a faint Smokey smell It tastes very sweet kind of like butterscotch with hints of vanilla and spice. I find it mixed well with ginger ale, or as a hot toddy I thought it was great value for money and will be buying it again

For the price point this would be one of my go to whisky’s as, although not a complex as some single malts, you can’t complain about the taste to value. Feels just a home over ice as it does neat, however I found it best mixed in an old fashioned. I’m not a fan of whisky and coke so can’t comment there although I’m sure the taste would still come through if tried. If this is your first dabble in the world of whisky then it’s a great start but if you’re in the know then consider it a pre-evening meal dram and move on to the big boy stuff after deserts.
