[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone who has drank whisky over the years I was looking forward to giving this a try as ive never personally tried the Johnnie Walker brand before. First impressions the bottle is well presented, its a good weight and looks like an expensive, well thought out design. I tried this with my husband and we first had this on the rocks but did not enjoy it this way, the smokiness in the whiskey gave it an unpleasant twang to us. We did try it with mixers and it was more palatable and pleasant enough to drink. I rated this 3 stars as with a mixer it was okay but I like to be able to drink a whiskey neat, on the rocks and mixed which I did not enjoy it the other ways and I would not personally choose to go out and purchase this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] On first impressions the bottle looks very simple but also quite expensive. The drink itself has a slight smokiness to it which i enjoyed. You can feel the hit as soon as it goes down. Its great for many occasions, this time we used it as a shot at a 30th birthday party and it went down extremely well. Goes well either by its self but also works well with mixers so its great to be able to mix it up. The price point seems very fair and would be something I'd be willing to purchase again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My partner tried this Johnnie walker red label branded scotch whiskey on the rocks originally however found it too strong for his tastes however with a mixer the taste was so much more pleasant, smooth and enjoyable. It’s a lovely drink. Full of flavour and smells great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A great whisky to mix with. On its own it is a tad rough, but mixing it softens the taste. I had it in an old fashioned (ice, original bitters, orange bitters, brown sugar, water) and it worked great. Spicy with some smoky depth hinted. Not too heavy or harsh, so you can have more than 1. I also had it with coke and it becomes very smooth and easy to drink. The glass bottle is sturdy and easy to pour from. A great bottle to keep in the drinks cabinet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very smooth whisky leaving a nice gradual warm feeling. It doesn’t take your throat out! It’s very flavoursome and moreish! The aroma is quite strong but very nice! Can be enjoyed responsibly as an evening drink.
