At $6 it was worth trying and is quite reasonable. It had a slightly burnt taste which didn’t override the standard SB characteristics but made you think twice. Apart from that it was refreshing but you could do better by spending a couple of dollars more.

we drink a LOT of Savvy...mainly NZ. We have had a number of Chilean whites and they never fail to impress at the price point. This is no exception. I can't think of another Savvy that delivers such a depth of flavour for around $6. It's not in the flavour profile of NZ or Adelaide Hills sav blancs, but I am 100% happy to add this to our regular tipples.

It's not undrinkable, but it definitely takes like grass to me. Will probably stick to the NZ sav Blanca in future.

This Sauvignon Blanc hails from the cool valley vineyards of Chile. Cape Contana has a lovely yellow colour, fruit and citrus aromas and a refreshing palate that has excellent balance and refreshing, soft and semi-dry palate.
