I wouldn’t recommend this to my worst enemy. Worst rum I have ever had. Don’t waste your money.

It arrived today and it was worth the wait (it is a delivery only) opened up and left for a few mins to breathe I was welcomed with a very soft tone. Slightly floral and smooth without a burn; this rum is very light; soft and gentle; it has a wonderful balance with a nice sweetness and a hint of the char; it is not offensive on the nose at all and you can taste that it's been in american oak as it is not spicy. My stomach is slowly warming; it's an intimate affair. 2 sips more and a little honey and banana reaches my nose and my palette. Step 2 into a sugar free coke. 1 shot, 1 can. (Honestly I am enjoying it neat so much but I must test!) When mixed the smell gets a little wild, a little more banana and a little more honey, much sweeter tasting than when drank neat; the tasting has concluded that this rum is best neat. On the table with a shot glass or nice glass for sipping all day or for an occasion to sit and enjoy a quiet drink with a companion. This rum is very cultured.

I love this Rum. It is a great rum for mixing with Ginger Ale with lime, Ginger Beer and even just with water. Very smooth and easy to drink. Beenleigh Rum Distillery is taking off. Can't wait to try their other Rums and what they are going to do in the future.

A beautifully smooth dark rum, much easier to drink than traditional dark rum's. Mixes nicely with dry ginger ale and a dash of lime. Also, very approachable neat or on the rocks.
