First thing you do after uncorking, inhale the aromas. Should have put the cork back in right then. I've had many a single malt over the years but never had a negative reaction before sampling. The taste is that of a very average single. The high alcohol content gives it a bit of bite but there's nothing special here at all. Certainly not value for money. Try before you buy.

Unique but classic, the one I prefer to drink when it’s time to truly slow down. 5 star

As a passionate whisky drinker whose price range is 90 to 130 dollars. I thought I would try this. Probably because I love the bottle. It looks very inviting. Sadly, I couldn’t drink it. Tried it neat, yuk. Tried with ice, literally poured it down the drain. As someone on a tight budget and can’t really afford to waste money on bad drams, this was an expensive lesson to learn. Learn from my mistake. It tasted almost tangy. Like it had a rotten egg infused into it. I’m shattered I spent my money when I could have just got what I know I love hahaha

I have been drinking single malt whisky for very long this batch I bought was a nightmare I drink it tasted like wine which goes off maybe the cask they used . Didnt took a second to scrap the whole bottle had to brush throughly to remove any of its tastes inmy mouth. Then open a single malt Bunnanhabhain which was good . Still needs to practice to make single malt learn from irish PLEASE DONT BUY IF U NOT AWARE

One of the best whiskeys of all time in this price range. I'll be grabbing another one asap

I've always wanted to try a hellyers road whiskey and all I can say is I'm not disappointed. Beautiful flavour and goes down really smooth 10/10
