First thing you do after uncorking, inhale the aromas. Should have put the cork back in right then. I've had many a single malt over the years but never had a negative reaction before sampling. The taste is that of a very average single. The high alcohol content gives it a bit of bite but there's nothing special here at all. Certainly not value for money. Try before you buy.
