As a passionate whisky drinker whose price range is 90 to 130 dollars. I thought I would try this.
Probably because I love the bottle. It looks very inviting.
Sadly, I couldn’t drink it.
Tried it neat, yuk.
Tried with ice, literally poured it down the drain.
As someone on a tight budget and can’t really afford to waste money on bad drams, this was an expensive lesson to learn.
Learn from my mistake.
It tasted almost tangy. Like it had a rotten egg infused into it.
I’m shattered I spent my money when I could have just got what I know I love hahaha

Aged in 200L American Oak ex-Bourbon casks for a minimum of five years, the whisky then sees secondary maturation in French Oak barriques that had Tasmanian Pinot Noir aged in them. This secondary maturation in French Oak ex-Tasmanian Pinot Noir casks adds beautiful red berry notes and a unique Tasmanian influence to this small batch single malt.
