The real thing. Not sickly sweet as made here. This is how tawny port should taste like. Of course, Portugal has hundreds of years experience so we shouldn't be surprised.

Portuguese style port have been ribbing us off for decades..their brilliant base material ended in the nineties and are now sweet water like and a excuse for this variety.. no depth no spirit base and definitely inferior to our aged tawny’s..

If you are used to a heavy, very sweet Australian port, then this might not be for you. It pours lightly and right away you can tell it's going to surprise you. Definitely not as sweet as an Aussie port, and does take some getting used to. Once you put aside your expectations, it's actually a fun port and will have you exploring deeper in to the home of port.

All fun is removed due to too sweet flavour. Drinks like an alcoholic lemonade. A complex and refined taste is absent. Aftertaste is just alcoholic nothing else.
