Taylors 2019 Tempranillo is currently the best value wine in any Dan Murphy’s store in Australia. It refutes the dank, bilgy descriptions of most imported sub $20 Tempranillo in our country. It reveals itself via its Quercus Alba barrel maturation where coconut aromas attract your attention before the varietal fruits ascend to reveal the wines regionality. The 2019 has provided penultimate quality (always leave yourself room to move with regard to perfection). The fruit unveils as brambly dark forest fruits prior to identifying as cherry and black plum. The aroma parallels the flavour which is impeccably balanced. Tannins of powdery silk deliver a rich and rewarding finish.
