Bin 128 usually gains richness with maturity, as it does here. With a deep crimson colour, heady plum & red fruits, almost floral, dominate the bouquet. The palate is mouth filling & quite powerful, with lashings of fruit yet some dark notes coming through. The tannins are fine with some softening suggesting there is plenty of development to come. An excellent wine from the very good 2009 vintage. Easily a gold medal standard here.
