When a quiet and cosy celebration is the go, this Muscat is perfect. To be frank, we sip it late in the evening to celebrate a great platter, a delicious dessert and to finish a perfect day. It’s also a lovely gift we’ve sent to friends and family in Germany, Italy and Canada for Christmas - the response makes it worth the trouble and expense.

I first had a taste of this camping in Victoria’s highlands and it’s hypnotic smell, fruity taste just makes my mouth water thinking about this amazing muscat! It has a coffee, butterscotch and sultana taste that I find to be just divine! It has become a special occasion drink with the ones I love “it’s very precious to me” I sip a small amount to savour the experience.

I received this wine as a Christmas present and I have been slowly savoring it for the past few months. I love the thick viscosity, and the way it clings to the glass when swirled. Taste is a wonderful experience and if you enjoy your fortified wines I am certain you will love this.

I saved my dollars and cents for this fantastic experience! This is an Oz treasure worth every cent, twice over. The colour is awe inspiring - rich, olive green / black / brown colour and very viscous - it slides around the glass. My friend said, on tasting - "The next thing to prune juice!" I know what she meant, but no, this is so complex, it just has to be tasted to be believed. The nose has a hint of rose oil and yes, prune juice, but there's also toffee, honey, mixed fruits, citrus peel. Now, stop sniffing and get sipping! All of these aromas flow onto the tongue in a beautiful raisined, fruit nectar experience. This is a truly sublime vinous treat. Get togther with some friends and invest in a bottle - you won't be disappointed - just a little goes such a long way!
